Post Phoenix - bantam
I have a sub-par SDW Phoenix and I have an unmated EOG SDW bantam. A decent BBR Phoenix and one good hen but also have an extra unmated OEG BBR bantam.

Can I do a cross to OEG bantams and line breed back for smaller Phoenix? and has anybody already done this?

Toni-Marie used Dutch with her bantam pheonix..guess you could try using the OEGB.

You get there faster using Dutch...There are no feather modifiers in them. O.E. have tail and saddle suppreser genes at work. It will take 3 or 4 generations to get back a good bird. Dutch in 2. TMA
