Post Bill Roberts Fowl
Has anyone here had any fowl from Mr. Roberts, or know someone who has? just wondering if he is a quality breeder or a chicken peddler.

As in Bill Roberts from Utah? With the three familys of butchers? I heared both pro and con. Never seen any of his fowl in any show. So that tells me something right there.

This is one of the Willam Roberts Shamo, that I have the good fortune of owning!
He calls this line his "Bulldog Line".This is a heavy boned old style Shamo line. He should cock out around 10-11 pounds. He is definitely going to be a big bird. He's only 13 months old...so he has some growing to do!!! :D

I have an aquiantance that drove to his farm to pick up fowl. He bought some pretty trios of AG's and brought them back. He bred them straight and they left a lot to be desired. He tried breeding some of his current lines into them hoping it would make them better but it only brought down the quality of his stock. After that experience he quickly disposed of the fowl he purchased from him. It maybe different with his OG's but this is the experience that this gentleman told me of the AG's he purchased.

Also wondering if people are discussing the same breeder? I checked out his website and saw no listings of the OG's.

I think you guys are referring to two different people. Will does not raise any AG at all, mostly shamos as people have already mentioned. Now Bill, I do not know.

As you can see from the additional posts, made in an attempt to answer your question and comments...you might want to post 'your' who's who regarding this name. Thanks! :D
