 Grains/Pellets/Mash
I raise fowl a little different and unconventional maybe to the poultry world. I actually have had two very success feeds, but they were complete oposites except in the nuitrion levels. 1) was a feed from KY very clean but pricey and no longer make deliveries to my part of the world. The other is straight pellets.
Floyd Gurley gave me my current feed and it is 100% pellets full choice all the time. I have done so for years as it saves so much time on feeding as I only have to feed basically have 3 rd day and that is just to fill up the milk jug with pellets. I now have a problem because I was having my pellet made for me and the company has gone out of business and I am not getting the options unless I go with a mash feed. Which makes no sense because they make a pellet then turn it into mash.
I have never feed mash before to adult birds. Does anyone have experience that can tell me they will eat mash just as well or even better than pellets?

Oh they will eat it just fine, but you will loose a lot on the ground too in my experience. I don't understand why all chicken feed, except starter, doesn't just come in pellet form, it works much better waste wise the way I see it.
