Post very worried! unusual molting
sory this isnt about gamefowl but , one of my hybrids has a big patch under head that is feather less, i dontthink this would be the cock in with her because there 15 other hens

any comments will be appreciated

andrew..just some reassurrance and clarification..this board isn't just about gamefowl, it's for all poultry and even exotic birds..or for that matter..anything you have a problem with don't hesitate to ask. I even raise fish..lol! There are people on this board with a plethera of hobbies. :thumb

Now.."under head"..i'm not sure i understand where you mean exactly..but could be an aggressive hen if not the cock she is in with..that sometimes happens. You might try and give some more information. ;)

i know shes also got a broken beak but i dnt think that effects her eating at all.

I wouldn't sweat missing a few hackle feathers, they will come back. 9 times out of 10 it's from feather picking. As for the broken beak, make sure you watch that bird for mites carefully, as they can't preen properly, and tend to get them easier. You can also expect it's feathers to not be in the best of shape due to the preening problem as well.
