 November Photo Contest
This month is open to any bird, male or female, of breeding age. They can be gamefowl, or standard breed chickens, all breeds are welcome. Also, since many of us have game birds, they can be used as well. We have had people in the past feel intimidated to add their photos, as we tend to center on gamefowl a lot on this site, but please don't feel that way. All breeds will be judged without bias, even mutts! The reason for the contest is to show off pictures of your fowl that you enjoy, from silkies, to American games, and have a chance to win a ribbon in the process. Check out our sticky for photo taking tips HERE, then start adding your pics! If you want a certificate showing that you participated in the contest, just pm me your name, and email address, and I will send one out to you! Just a few things to think of when taking your pics:Don't take pictures at night time, do it during the daylight hours. Take pics of individual birds, with no other birds in the picture. Get down to the birds level, don't take pics standing, while looking down at them. Look at your background. Take the time to take the bird you want to photo, to a nice area to take it's pic. Trees, grass, flowers, and scenic areas. Good luck!
