If you are having problems with that kind of Varmit you need a dog that can shoot. One meatball takes care of any dog in minutes. Put up some motion lights with a buzzer to the house. When it goes off do as we do come out of the house with a shotgun and start shooting waist high.

Ok if the problem is of a human kind, a good solution has already been given. If you are having critter trouble anything from (stray dog to Chupa Cabra). My $ and my livestock rest on my Anatolians, they even do their part to keep the hawks from landing. They do need good fencing to keep them in.

Cmon guys you know no bird is worth a human life. We all know in the end it is someone you know or knows you, it could be your brother in laws brothers, your cousins friend, your uncles in laws...right? My best suggestion is numero uno for farms...The APBTs...why..they are silent until the real deal and when they bark it isnt as worse as their bite...and if they bite theives then it is legally protected...if you need a couple of good ones..let me know..

C'mon guys do we really want our pit bull to maul someone over a chicken? It could be your brother in law,cousin or uncle...Now that I think about it why should I shoot someone for breaking into my house? After all maybe they weren't loved enough or need some drug money or something.
