 Re: Our Coyote Busters
Wish I'd had one of these guys at the house tonight, coyote was maybe 50 yards from the back porch....

Tazz, the dog in the top photo has been busy. He is a proud papa now and will be again soon. My mom's blue Foxy (not pictured) just had 9 pups!! Cookie will be following suit in about 2 months, wow, gonna be a lot of pups running around.

Dang, they stay further away here, 100-150 yds about as come to my house, and always mask themself with the tree cover. Y'all must have a very large population that have no fear to be within a residential neighborhood

 Re: Our Coyote Busters
Thanks, they're all big babies and spoiled rotten. Tazz is a good dog, this evening not long before dusk there were a few buzzards flying around looking for a roost, he pitched a fit whenever one would fly over his end of the yard jumping and barking. My brother says he's seen him do the same thing with hawks. Cookie does that too, so I take it that Tazz is also pretty smart to pick up on it too, even 1 of the younger dogs is doing it now. I wish I could keep one at my house but no dogs are allowed outside here, I saw a coyote in the back yard a while back. All of the dogs are at the family farm in Alabama, along with most of our birds. I have 7 here with me with only 2 roosters and the rest hens, mainly breeding pairs and 1 old heinz 57 hen I can't part with that I have spoiled since she hatched.

 Re: Our Coyote Busters
Coyotes are often worse in suburbs than out in the woods! We have TONS of coyotes here in my neighborhood, but they have never been a problem for me, in fact I toss dead chickens over the fence for them.
