I haven't heard of them, but alot of American Gamefowl are location specific, whereas circles of gents in a certain area would of shown against them or knew the originator and knew of them, and others may have just passed on the adverts in the mags because of not knowing about them. Since your buddy has raised them for better than 20 years I'd lay money they would best be described by his name and referenced as being old "Hazard" blood, since he is the one who has been selecting and breeding from them this whole time and not the original person he aquired them from. We American Game breeders get a little too caught up in the whole name game, in my opinion. Good fowl are good fowl no matter what fancy name you put on them :) . Would like to see some pics if ya can get some and I'll keep an eye out for info and ask some of my resources as well. Thanks for the post..... :thumb

Just found this topic. A man that raised and sold a family of fowl by this name kept an ad in G&S for a long time. You would have to go back to the early 1950's to find these adds. These fowl were called BrownRed Hazards and his slogan in the ads was "Watch them turn on the fan. Don't think there is a written history on them or what kind of BR they actually were nor do I remember the man's name that owned them.
