what would you say the main differance between shamo and asil is i meen looking wise

Shamo are usually longer boned which makes them taller than an Asil at the same weight. But that only applies to the classically shaped Asil. You see alot of tall Asils too that could pass for Shamo, Thai, etc. Hint birds are called Asil but many have Shamo blood in them. Other than that , head, feet, tail, all could be similar.

In large Asil vs Shamo, you should see a difference in the head. An Asil eye is set more in the center of the head. A Shamo eye is set further back and closer to the top of the skull. Also, a Shamo head will appear more flat than an Asil head when viewed from the side.

Large Asil still tend to appear more 'chunky' than do Shamo. It is hard to tell as Godwin says from pictures of birds from the homelands because they have added things to their original stock.
